BENTON PLAYING EXETER - THIS FRIDAY (4TH NOVEMBER)
The Deep End presents a last minute emergency date for Benton (Black Box, Wheel and Deal, Biscuit Factory) at Exeters newest underground venue the Cellar Door.
Bentons playing in Plymouth for Small Time Krooks, then heading up to Exeter after (see here for info on the Plymouth gig)
For those who dont know, Benton has received critical acclaim by Dubstep pioneers Skream, Benga, N Type, Distance & Youngsta (to name but a few). Radio stations Rinse Fm, Kiss 100, BBC Radio 1 all praise Benton for his dark and brooding productions on labels such as Black box and Wheel’n’Deal.
The new venue is Cellar Door, a night club on Exeters quay side located in two big underground cellars. The club was formally known as Vaults, then Riva before closing and being left vacant for years.
JamTheChannel tested the water for everyone last week at their Cellar Door launch party, which was a great success. They hit full capacity early in the night, with one in one out until the early hours.
This venue is a ideal home for underground music, a decent space, friendly management, security and staff, cheap drinks, the option to import a sound system, the list goes on.
